Aurora de Rêves

The Witch your Archbishop warned you about

RACEHyur (Midlander)
EYESBlack Right, Amber Left
HEIGHT≈ 67 ilms
WEIGHT≈ 130 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSGreenish Mark next to Right Eye
VISIBLE TATTOOSNone
AETHERUsually hidden

Often found with a wide-brimmed hat, Aurora de Rêves leaves the first impression of a normal, if eccentric, woman. One would think the Ishgardian accent and old-elezan words sprinkled throughout her speech betray her heritage. However, a little digging and one quickly finds she is connected to a pureblood Garlean woman named "Aurora cen Somnia".

Digging deeper, one finds that neither of these are the original names of their respective owners. Digging deeper still, and one will find that records of their history are naught but paper trails. No one who should have known them remembers them.

The truth of the matter is that Aurora is anything but normal...

Lyhe Maidne

Just what do you think Vanity is?

RACEDark Fae
EYESVaries
HEIGHT≈5' 7" (± ≤1')
WEIGHT≈ 130 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSVaries, usually with pale "freckles"
VISIBLE TATTOOSVaries
AETHERDeep, Pale Green with "Vines" of Darkness

Often seen on Norvrandt, this (usually horned) woman claims the title of "Witch of Vanity". She holds a pair of old Voeburtian sanctums in Il Mheg, and is quite happy to invite artisans and philosophers to lounge and make merry in her name. Despite being fae, her demeanor is rather pleasant, and few mortals have disappeared (or worse) under her care.

Her name means "Morning Dreams". Oddly, she had once claimed the name of "Aurora" while on the Source. But surely they cannot be the same person....

Captain "Kali" Greensky

Yo Ho Ho Savages

RACEGarlean Pureblood
EYESSea Green
HEIGHT≈ 67 ilms
WEIGHT≈ 152 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSFacial Scarring
VISIBLE TATTOOSNone
AETHERUnusually Robust For A Pureblood

Just as rumors of the Garlean Empire's fall began to circulate, a ship called "Gale's Night" and flying neutral colors anchored outside of Limsa Lominsa's harbor. A dinghy carried the captain and a couple crew the rest of the way to the city. The captain introduced herself as "Captain Greensky" (Though her crew called her "Kali"), and requested an audience with Admiral Bloefhiswyn. Though she waited several days, the audience was granted.

Whatever was discussed between the Captain and the Admiral is unknown, though a safe bet is that Captain Greensky traded wealth for something. Soon, Gale's Night was docked at Limsa Lominsa, and the inspection of the crates being unloaded was carried out by high ranking Assessors of Mealvaan's Gate. The crew - which witnesses claim were Garlean Purebloods - loaded basic supplies onto the ship, and they set sail once more.

Since, the Gale's Night has been seen from time to time at various Eorzean ports - Including Limsa Lominsa - though they only ever seem to deal with local officials. Little is known about the ship, her crew, or about Captain Greensky beyond her scars, ever-present hood, and unusually squeaky voice.

Cultist of the Drifting Stars

I See You Have Been Collecting Stars

Often seen, but rarely known, the Cult of Drifting Stars keeps to themselves. They don't manipulate the events quietly from the shadows. They don't abduct random innocents for sacrifice to their Goddess. Their Goddess has promised them nothing but safety and security from the Calamities in return for their worship.

And their Goddess delivers.

From a tiny whisper to one's heart suggesting a path away from pending disaster, to more overt forms of divine intervention, the Cultists have lived long, healthy lives under the watchful eyes of their Goddess. If they have known any hardships, it is borne of civilization-disrupting catastrophes, as unbelievers the cultists are nonetheless connected to are laid low.

And yet, rather than spread her word so that more of civilization may be spared, they are asked to wait and keep quiet.

But the day will come.

Drassa the Touched

Let Us Play!
(Missing)

RACEHume
EYESCloudy (Right, Damaged) and Amber (Left)
HEIGHT≈ 67 ilms
WEIGHT≈ 129 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSMole under left eye
VISIBLE TATTOOSNone
AETHERDeep, Powerful

The Hortorium and the Cabinet of Curiosity of Lakeland's Crystarium know Drassa well. In addition to the woman's love of pranks, she has an uncanny knack for gathering rare materials from Il Mheg and The Rak'tika Greatwood without running afoul of the natives. More recently, she's been tracking down stolen books from the Cabinet of Curiosity, and returning them.

Rumors persist of the woman having a fae pact which allows her to wander their lands unmolested. In addition, some suspect she steals the books herself, and returns them later. As she receives neither reward nor recognition for the return of the books, they believe it to be just another prank.

Drassa was last seen returning to Il Mheg. No one has heard from her since, and it's assumed the Fae likely kept her this time.

While investigating compounds found on the flying facility, a capsule exploded in her face, badly scarring her and damaging her mind. The once well-respected medicus veteranus has been on a downhill slide since.

For a time, she remained with the VIth legion, being sent out on detachment to other Imperial units when her derangement got to be a bit too much for her superiors. When the legion lost contact with Garlemald, kir Azami was on the team sent to investigate. Since then, she has fallen off the radar.

Mneme eir Perditus

Who Is In Control?
(Missing)

RACEGarlean Pureblood
EYESGold
HEIGHT≈ 67 ilms
WEIGHT≈ 117 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSMole under left eye
VISIBLE TATTOOSNone
AETHERNormal for a Garlean Pureblood

Mneme has worked for Calliste goe Luria for as long as anyone who knows the frumentarii cell can remember. Little concrete information exists concerning her, and much of it sounds like rumors. One being that her name is merely a code name given to different agents. This would explain why the frumentarius's appearance mysteriously changes from time to time.

Some say she is a glorified messenger, keeping the lines of communication open between goe Luria's far-flung agents. Others say eir Peritus is the true head of the cell. Yet others say she has been subject to numerous experiments conducted by the Empire. Whatever the case, she is no doubt a strong force behind the saying, "Frumentarium sees all."

Her last known location was the Imperial Capital of Garlemald...but the eir is nothing if not slippery, and likely escaped the chaos.

Melinoe de la Troisieme

Begone From My Presence!

RACEHyur (Midlander)
EYESVery Light Brown
HEIGHT≈ 67 ilms
WEIGHT≈ 129 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSMole under left eye
VISIBLE TATTOOSRune-like figure near right eye
AETHERDeep, Powerful

Melinoe de la Troisieme (sometimes "Septieme") claims to hail from Coerthas. Though she carries herself as a noble, there is no record of her or any family with her surname in the three city states she is most commonly seen in: Ishgard, Ul'dah, and Limsa Lominsa. There were rumors of her being a powerful voidmage, yet no evidence was found to support this. Further, what magic she did perform beyond cantrips was often healing magic.

Regardless, she must have upset someone, as she disappeared abruptly after construction began on the Firmament district. More rumors have formed stating she lays in an unmarked grave beneath the foundations of one of the new houses.

Steia L'Etoile

HEIGHT≈ 67 ilms
WEIGHT≈ 129 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSMole under left eye
VISIBLE TATTOOSRune-like figure near right eye
AETHERShallow, Void-Touched

Steia L'Etoile was a strange woman who fell from the heavens in western Coerthas. Only knowing her name as "Steia", a guard suggested she adopt the surname "L'Etoile" for records, a name meaning "The Star". She initially moved to Ul'dah, though later settled in The Lavender Beds, founding a "forest-friendly alchemist shop" and marrying.

Rumors say Steia perished attempting to kill her murderous sister, Nighean Esoterica. Her alchemy shop has been passed on to Aurora de Rêves
(formerly Aurora Delafin).

Prior to the 7th Calamity, Alecto mal Tertia worked as a Praefectus Medicorum for the Scholae Palatinae, functioning as an inspector for a number of "medically adjacent" facilities in Garlemald. After the passing of Emperor Solus zos Galvus, she left the Scholae Palatinae (though rumors suggest she was dismissed), and came to run a medical facility elsewhere in Ilsabard.

Shortly before the Second War of Succession, mal Tertia announced her plans to resign from her position and seek retirement. After searching for a qualified replacement, she departed into obscurity.

RACEHyur (Midlander)
EYESAmber
HEIGHT≈ 67 ilms
WEIGHT≈ 129 ponze
VISIBLE MARKSMole under left eye
VISIBLE TATTOOSNone
AETHERNormal for a Conjurer

Ae'sael was a conjurer of Stillglade Fane, and was most often assigned to investigate groups which are rumored to consort with voidsent, summon primals, or raise ashkin. Her investigations were usually open affairs, often identifying herself honestly (though sometimes quiet about her intention).

She has been out of contact with Stillglade Fane since the Eorzean Alliance took Baelsar's Wall. She disappeared shortly after investigating possible necromantic activity in the Shroud, and has been out of contact for so long, the Fane assumes she is dead.

Mossy Puppets and Bloody Puppets

!?!??!?!?!?!????!?!?!

The "Mossy Puppets" are reanimated corpses magicked to perform specific tasks. Shrouded in green rags and leather, these soulless ashkin perform simple tasks...usually gathering or delivering materials. They are rather weak, and will run from danger. If confronted with an insurmountable obstacle, they may stop altogether.

My Freedom For Your Blood!

"Bloody Puppets" are Mossy Puppets which have been "Upgraded" by allowing a voidsent to possess the corpse, then armed with a magic weapon and armor plates. Though the voidsent is bound to their specific task, they perform it with maniacal zeal, promised gifts by a far more powerful being. They are tough and ferocious, and likely to tear through any obstacles.
